Tibet Vision Project Trivia Night

On Saturday 12th May 2007 we’ll have a great night from 8pm at

THE COVE SPORTS CLUB

325A Eastern Valley Way      Chatswood

We’ll have a few rounds of amusing and amazing trivia and we will learn something about a wonderful new opportunity in beautiful Tibet. We will be well fed and looked after by Kerry and the staff at the club and drinks will be available at the bar.

This year we will make the world a better place by helping Dr Marc Lieberman, a volunteer American eye surgeon to restore vision to people who have been blinded by cataracts in remote areas of Tibet.

Dr Lieberman has been going to Tibet for years on an inspirational mission to to eliminate preventable blindness throughout Tibet, with local resources only, by the year 2020. He brings modern eye care training to local Tibetan doctors. His vision is that every Tibetan whom they encounter will experience modern eye surgery with Heart: restoring sight, bringing light, allowing Tibetans to see the incomparable beauty of their homeland.           See his remarkable web site at www.tibetvisionproject.org

None of this work could proceed without the generosity of supporters. This year we can help. Imagine that with every $US20 we raise, we can restore one person's sight. It will be a privilege to give Australian help.

The work of Dr Lieberman was showcased in the brilliant documentary 'Visioning Tibet' produced by Isaac Solotaroff. We will show some brief highlights from the documentary on the evening. Isaac has kindly provided us with a special version.           See Isaac's web site at www.visioningtibet.com

We welcome tables of contestants, or you can make up or join a table on the night. Why not make up a table from your work? Cost is $25 per person. Please indicate numbers (for catering purposes) by phoning
